みやじまわきこ

1994年　大阪泉佐野市生まれ、神戸出身。神戸在住。

2018年　武蔵野美術大学造形学部油絵学科油絵専攻卒業。

2019年　武蔵野美術大学大学院造形研究科美術専攻油絵コース中途退学。

物語を軸に、さまざまな表現活動を行っています。

絵画を、物語と感情の境界線をつくり、動き出すための装置として制作しています。

幼い頃、文字を書くことができなかった私は、絵なら描けるんじゃないかと思って絵を描き始めました。最初は絵画を描いていましたが物足りなさを感じるようになり、アニメーションにしたり、漫画を描いたり、演劇に挑戦したりと、少しずつ表現の形を広げてきました。

現在も、物語とさまざまな表現との関わりを探りながら制作しています。

1994 Born in Izumisano, Osaka, currently based in Kobe, where I also grew up.

2018 Graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, Musashino Art University.

2019 Withdrew from the Oil Painting Course, Graduate School of Musashino Art University.

Working with narrative as a central theme, I engage in a variety of forms of expression. I create paintings as devices that create a boundary between narrative and emotion, and serve as a starting point for something to begin moving.

As a child, I wanted to make picture books, but I could not write yet. I thought that perhaps I could draw instead, and that is how I began drawing. I initially focused on painting, but eventually felt that a single painting was not enough. This led me to explore different forms of expression, including animation, manga, and theater, gradually expanding the ways in which I work. I continue to explore the relationship between narrative and different forms of expression through my practice.
